The database will be postgreSQL, an open-source object- Relational database system known forts reliablity, robust Features, and performance. It will be hosted on Microsoft Azure, Which offers high availability configuration.

We used Ruby and Ruby on Rails for back-end development. Ruby is a dynamic, open-source programming language Focused on ease and productivity. Ruby on Rails is server-side Web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License. It follows a model-view-controller architecture and provides structures of database, web services, and web pages.

For a responsive mobile-first front-end, we used jQuery and Bootstrap, a combination of javascript and css frameworks. We also used third-party tools like Stimulsoft for label Design and printing. For POS, we used Xamarin to develop Android apps using C# and .NET framework, along with MvvmCross, a framework designed for Xamarin and the mobile ecosystem.
